  1. The word pumpkin covers a lot more than Halloween pumpkins.

    A butternut squash is also a pumpkin.

    An acorn squash is a pumpkin.

    Etc.

    Please:

    If it has a hard shell with seeds inside, and yellow flesh it is likely a pumpkin.

    Question:

    Is canned pumpkin (pumpkin pie pumpkin ) as healthy as a garden grown butter nut squash/pumpkin.
