My dog Judge seems to be alleegic to alot of proteins, meat and some veggies, what do i do
I have a 3 year old GSD that all of a sudden developed diarrhea for over a month. Vet ran stool diagnostics and all parasitic infections came back negative. The vet prescribed metro and probiotics along with prescription gastrointestinal canned and dry food. two days after the metro ran out, the bloody stool came back. The vet prescribed a 10 day metro prescription along with more probiotics. As soon as those ran out the stool softened and turned bloody. Now I feed him canned food only along with rice and antidiarrheal meds. It maintains his stools stiff but I don’t want him on that med indefinitely. I’ll check your website out but i am concerned. A hydrolyzed food diet will only be used to stabilize the diet while checking for food allergies.
Hi dr Morgan,
I am so frustrated, i have a 4 years old french bulldog, always fed him on raw food. But the allergies are always an issue, the protein he seems to tolerate more is DUCK, but know he has a combination of very hard and liquid stools. What would you recommend. I give him probiotics. Don’t know how to feed him anymore.
What is TCBM ?
We have a white english bulldog and she has done amazing on raw diet. No allergies that we know of.
I have a blue Pitt who has both environmental and food allergies we know to chicken and believe to grain and dairy as well she takes apoquell daily and recently tried cytapoint injection. We tried a turkey , kale and sweet potatoes diet we cook ourselves but she has lost weight the vet mentioned h/d hydrolyzed but I notice that it’s often chicken flavor is this safe ?
