With Kitten Season in full swing, I’m getting a lot of questions about when young kittens can begin eating on their own and what to feed them. In this video I will show you the best foods for kittens this age and how to encourage them to start eating on their own. Kittens are able to eat solid food between 3 and 4 weeks old. Usually they learn from watching their mother eat, and as she begins to wean them off milk they start looking to eat solid food. There’s lots of foods for kittens on the market, and I always recommend buying the highest quality dry and canned food you can afford. Be sure the food is soft enough for small kittens to chew, and that it contains the proper nutrients needed for growing kittens. Provide a clean living environment (kittens are messy), fresh water, and lots of love…a healthy diet is just part of raising happy kittens!

I didnāt get it because my kitten didnāt want it. She didnāt do it. She would only lick it off her lips and she keeps running to me asking for milk and we found her at a barn and I thought it would work but it didnāt work. Sheās still not eating it. She just wants her milk from her bottle and sheās just five weeks old and I canāt get her to so I came to you to ask for help. I mean she tries to clean herself by licking herself, but she still doesnāt eat. Itās weird. She still wants milk. I mean sheās tiny though.š¢

My kitten has refused cat wet meat from day 1 I’ve tried everything,been at vets checked over all fine ,I’ve tried all meats chicken turkey ,salmon ,tuna won’t entertain it ,royal canine hills and still nothing just biscuits
