  1. I had a vet tell me to stop adding fresh food. Nope. I give them veggies and turkey/chicken 4x week, eggs once a week and twice a week salmon on top of their food. Refuse to vaccinate for years besides pro heart (don’t skip this) and realized the flea meds I use last a lot longer then on the label so I stretch it out for months and take them off it for the winter. All five are over 10 with one just turning 16. Great info in this video. Thanks

  2. I give oil olive, pumkin seeds, salmon oil, vit D 2 000 units , in drops, i sneak some parsley, shredded carrots, blueberries. Will try broccoli.
Also give egg, butter , yogurt, cheese and I cook bone broth for both of us ❤❤

  3. So much is about dogs longevity is down to breeding( that both parents health checked before mating. , especially eyes and hips and elbow scores. We bred from one bitch with a regressive eye condition so swabs of all pups were sent away for testing at great cost .Only one pup carried the gene .We kept her and she was a very smart working dog and is still alive at just 16 years old which for a Labrador is pretty good. She loves her food and has lots of short exercise sessions each day as she has arthritis in her near hind leg. She obviously enjoys these as her tail is always wagging as she sniffs her territory. She doesn’t mind her younger brother doing zoomies around her , she just carries on exploring.Just over 2 years ago she had pymetra and was operated on and 6 weeks later she was spayed. She was quite old for such a big operation but thankfully she is still with us. She only had regular inoculations as a youngster . Now she carries plenty of antibodies from the earlier vaccinations. I love her to bits and so does our other dog.
