  1. my sweet little yorkie of 11 years died just 2 hours ago. she had an accident, and i performed cpr while my dad tried to find a vet. due to it being lunar new year, the only vet that’s open is a 1 hour drive away. my sweet baby couldn’t hold much longer, im so devastated. it hurts so much. im also infuriated by the fact that NO vets in the city are open. this is the worst day of my life. she was my first ever dog

  2. My cat died yesterday day I grew up with him and I was at my aunts when I found out rest easy lucky forever 10 years old

  3. Today it’s 11 months since…My bestie had to cross over. I know what you are talking about. Society has to evolve.

  4. I wished grief related to a pet being ill or dying would be more normalized but unfortunately it isn’t. Nowadays they even try to say that pets are the reason women don’t have kids and that it is silly to treat animals like kids. This is for real, the far right in Poland has made such statements. It makes me very sad. I’m going through a tough time having a 14 year old dog with chronic kidney failure who’s very close to the end. The thought of my boy leaving me is excruciating. I know I’ll have to put him down eventually but it’s painful. He stopped eating a week ago and the vet is trying everything she can, bless her. If he doesn’t respond to treatment this week, the inevitable will happen. He is my everything, my comfort, my pal, my joy. I took off from work to care for him. I luckily have a very compassionate manager who is human and understand these things.
