Hi Glen, Well got the dreaded advice to help my pup lose some pounds. I decided to look for videos from you and Dr Rae when starting my search. I came across this video. Would you still recommend this perfect weight? I’ve been comparing some lines with the big 3, Purina, RC, and SD. Don’t really want to go to a vet diet and hopefully can stick to one I can buy in the store. For SD I was doing a compare of perfect weight and Lite – of course clear as mudd to me lol even though SD is the most transparent of all companies on the website but don’t understand the difference from one to another. I think if I had to decide it would be between SD and Pro Plan weight management. I used to prefer RC but they are the least transparent with consumers and claim weight limits in there adult diets and stuff, it’s weird
That was a long ad
I’m so glad you included Hills Metabolic for weight loss. Coco’s ACL surgeon recommended it after her surgery. (Her vet never mentioned her weight) She’s lost 3 lbs in 7 months. (From 21.4 to 18.4lbs. She absolutely loves this food. Haven’t had a bad poop from the day we started. Couldn’t be happier with Hills.
If they could make a Metabolic diet and hydrolyzed.
Theres there’s our Goldendoodle who needs to lose weight and battles allergies. Glen your right,we feed our dogs extra because we think that love .
